Snehová pusinka – as she calls herself – is Lucia from Nové Zámky, Slovakia. A passionate traveler, mother of two, and an avid collector of pastry books from world-renowned pastry chefs. At the end of 2022, she won the baking competition "Pečie celé Slovensko" ("All of Slovakia Bakes").

The competition was broadcast in 11 episodes, with contestants completing three baking challenges in each one – personal, technical, and creative. They created their own desserts as well as traditional Slovak and international recipes. The jury evaluated originality, taste, appearance, and execution. A total of 12 contestants competed for the title of master baker in this entertaining show.

So why did Lucia enter? She wanted signatures in her pastry books from the judges! She brought macarons to the casting – and that’s how her journey began… Her dream of signed books eventually took her all the way to the final!

At that time, she still owned an old baking oven, which had started to fail. That’s when she decided to replace it with a Retigo DeliMaster.

Lucia, how would you compare your old oven to the Retigo DeliMaster? What are the baking results like?

► Unbelievable. I couldn’t understand how a baking oven could work like this. What it can do and how it bakes is incredible. My macarons are completely different now.

I really appreciate the humidity control. With the old oven, I had to open and close the door quickly to ventilate. The DeliMaster adjusts everything on its own – what is that?! Fabulous!

What benefits does the DeliMaster bring you?

► I can bake a large quantity in a short amount of time, it’s easy to use, and baking with it is a dream. The evenness of the bake is excellent. And the color display with pictograms? That’s the cherry on top.

Would you recommend this baking oven to others?

► Absolutely – just for its features alone and how easy it is to work with.

If you could describe the baking oven in one word, what would it be?

► Alien!

What is your favorite and least favorite ingredient to bake with?

► My favorite is vanilla – I love it. Least favorite? Bacon (laughs).
