Mita'ay is an exceptional restaurant in Taitung, Taiwan, dedicated to preserving and presenting the traditional cuisine of the indigenous Amis tribe. The name ‘Mita'ay’ means ‘ours’ in the Amis language - and that's exactly what the restaurant's approach is: communal, shared and deeply rooted in the local culture.

The menu is based on local ingredients and authentic recipes. Specialties include tea-smoked duck breast or chicken thigh with maqaw spices, which are typical of Amis cuisine.

Since 2021, the restaurant has been using a Retigo Blue Vision 623 i combi oven, which allows them to achieve high quality and consistency in their dishes. Its main advantages include precise humidity and temperature control, ease of operation and reliability even in heavy duty use.
